Rifle Range Data Clip
Purpose
The purpose for these items is to aid permanent personnel during the conduct of live fire on the rifle range. They almost always encounter problems loosing or forgetting their ink pen and ear plugs. The sole purpose of the Data Clip packet is to cut down on the amount of time spent assembling items, loss of items and the excessive purchases made prior to and during the rifle range.
Description
The Data Clip is a convenient and inexpensive package containing everything needed for the rifle range
minus the Data Book. It is designed to expedite assembling of items needed for use on the rifle range. Simply open the Data Clip package and within minutes everything is assembled. No more buying extra bootlaces, pens or tape. With Data Clip you’re already one step ahead.
- The Ink Pen is used to record data in the Data Book. The positive thing about the ink pen is that it has a string attached which will cut down on the constant problem of lost ink pens.
- The reusable Ear Plugs are used to reduce damage to the shooters eardrums during the course of fire. The packet contains the highest rated ear plugs on the market at a noise reduction rating (NRR) of 33. The ear plugs have a cord attached and will reduce the amount of money personnel spend on boot laces and medical tape to affix the string to the ink pen and ear plugs.
- The Clothes Pin is used to hold pages in place during the course of fire and makes for ease of writing during windy weather or when you have to move quickly from one line to the next.
- The Safety Pin is used to secure the ear plugs inside the top of the cover while not in use on the range. This will also cut down on the amount of ear plugs being lost, therefore preventing delays during the course of fire due to lost ear plugs.
- The Water Proof Bag is used to store the Data Book in while not in use and or for use during inclement weather.
Packet Contents
This packet will enhance the Marine Corps slogan, “Every Marine a Rifleman.” Due to everything being in one packet, it will no doubt be an asset to all Marines as they prepare to fire on the rifle range each year.
